Hexagons Midweek Throwdown

Hello Friends,

Today I am going to share with you a card that I made for Operation Write Home's Midweek Throwdown Challenge ~ which is to make a card using Hexagons!  Here is my card:

For this A2 size card I started with yellow cardstock for the base of the card, I then cut out some hexagons from a sheet of paper with hexagons already printed on it.  I then used Simon Says Stamps Big Hug die to cut out the brown Hugs and placed that in between the two rows of hexagons.  Easy Peasy!!  And now that is yet another card done for OWH!!  Now who wouldn't like to get this card in the mail?

Thanks for stopping by!!  If you have any comments or questions please feel free to leave them in the comments section and I will get back to you as soon as I can!!

I hope I have inspired you to create something today!!

Happy Crafting!!
Lori

  2. Your card made me think of an arial shot of colorful umbrellas on a beach where someone had written HUGS in the sand ;)

  4. Heather's absolutely right -- these do resemble beach umbrellas. Umbrellas or hexagons... either way they do a nice job of framing the sentiment.
