Joy Clair World Cardmaking Day 2017 Big Blog Hop

Hello Card Makers!!

Happy World Card Making Day 2017!!!

Those of us on the Joy Clair Design Team have worked together to make a Collaborative Card for today along with our challenge posts!

We each took a piece of white paper that was 3 inches by 3 inches and decorated it with one of our Joy Clair stamp sets.  Then we cut the square into inchies so that there were 9 squares.  We kept one of our squares and then mailed the other 8 squares out to the other Design Team Members.  Once we had all the squares we were to make a card using the inchies.

For my inchies I used the Joy Clair Fall Leaves stamp set and some different color inks.

Here is my card:

I took a piece of rust colored paper and put my ichies together and then I cut the square and inked the edges with black ink.  I took some foam and attached that to the back of the square and added that to a 4 inch by 5 1/4 inch piece of rust paper. I took some black ink and the Joy Clair Hello Sentiments stamp set and stamped hello under the square.

For my challenge post I picked Pinspiration as my challenge.

This is my 1st World Card Making Day that I have ever participate in and I am super excited to share with you my Pinterest Inspired Challenge!

Here is the image that I was given to use for inspiration.

Here are the Joy Clair stamp sets I used to make my card:

I took some white card stock to make the base of my A2 card.  I took a piece of green LemonCraft paper and added that to the base.  I took some dark green paper and the Dee's Distictively Dies Lattice 1 die and cut it out and added that to the base of the card.  I made my cake using white paper for the cake. I cut the bottom layer of the cake 1 1/2 inch by 3 1/4 inch, the middle layer is 1 1/2 inch by 2 1/2 inches, the top layer is a 1 1/2 inch square, then I used my corner rounder to round the edges. For the icing I took some orange paper, gold paper and my grass border punch and punched out the orange and gold paper.  I layered the orange on top of the gold and then cut them down to fit onto the cake, rounding the corners with my corner rounder.  After I assembled the cake with the icing, I took some watercolor paper, black ink and the Joy Clair Doodle Flowers stamp set and stamped out my flowers.  I colored them in with Copic markers and then fussy cut them out and added them to the cake, then I added the cake onto the card on top of the lattice.  I took some more white paper, black ink and the sentiment from the Joy Clair Hello Autumn stamp set and stamped the sentiment onto the paper.  I then took my Gina Marie Designs Big and Little Pierced Chain Oval die and cut out the sentiment.  I took some pop dots and added the sentiment to the card.

Here is a closer look at my card:
